On today’s episode of Absent Sounds, we celebrate the one year anniversary of Where the Orange Groves Grow, with an interview featuring the one and only Bilal Nasser 🙂

Bilal composed each piece of this album as a way to navigate himself within the fragmented reality of many Middle Eastern youth. As we dive into each song, it’s easy to see how these flashes become landmarks, building the profile of his personhood as a muscian, and as a friend 🙂
